June 23:
For clarity, ANYONE CAN PLAY WITH US ON LEAGUE DAY! The more the merrier as we agreed at the end of last season. They can opt in for the weekly game! They do NOT replace the requirement for a minimum of 2 league players to play together and they are not eligible for the HIO payout pot for the season, or the year long ringer board or the end of season dinner. Anyone interested in playing can call the club prior to Monday EOD and sign up on the sheet. I cannot guarantee that there will be specific pairings as we need to ensure that all tee times have at least 2 league players. If they are not Ironbridge Members, they will need to pay rack rate (less the 25% member guest discount) green fees.
June 4:
In playing this week several of us noted a large number of “winter” damage spots on the course and in the rough. We played out of it this week, but discussed the need to play by winter rules to allow you to move out of it, with the agreement of your playing partners, until that grass grows back in for the heart of the season. Moving forward we will allow every player the ability to move out of severe damage spots until further notice. “Severe damage” is identified where the underlying area has no grass grown in and you are able to see the ground/dirt. This does not include areas on the green or fringe/apron around the green. Those must be played as it lies. If there is anyone that feels strongly against this, please reach out to Danette so we can discuss further.
May 13: If you want to play on a Wednesday, you must call the Pro Shop by Monday before they close and ask them to add your name to that week’s sign-up list.
If you want a specific tee time, tell the Pro Shop when you call.
On Tuesday morning, Danette will use the list of people who called to set up the tee times/pairings.
If you don’t call, Danette won’t know you’re playing, so you likely won’t be included in the tee times.
If you are planning on playing the Ringer Board you will not be able to record a score until your fees are paid.
Chad and Nathan have agreed to do some 30 minute clinics BEFORE we tee off on Wednesdays! I’m thinking just 1 per month, but they are open to do them as often as we want! All FREE OF CHARGE! I’ve added a column into the Tee Time chart below that will list the clinic date.

To acknowledge that you are playing, simply call the ProShop before Monday end of day. On Tuesday’s we will do the pairings with everyone that signed up. If you require a specific tee time please let the ProShop know when you call.
